Conclusion
The idea behind this project was to develop an apocalyptic scene involving a handful of survivors resisting a zombie attack around an abandoned petrol station. Although the focal point of the project is the station’s interior and close surroundings, the future intent is to further extend the scene to encompass damaged vehicles stationed on the highway in an effort to include this work in my portfolio.

The main challenge during the project was the scope. At the beginning, I focused on the exterior of the station and the background with little interest on the inside. But as the project progressed and after discussion with my supervisor, we shifted the focus on the station’s interior where he pointed it would add lot of depth to my scene.

One of the other main challenges I faced was the remote work, communicating using Lebanon's current internet is next to impossible, having a proper Skype conversation is pretty hard to achieve. Not to mention the huge problem i faced each time i needed to upload my scene for my tutor to check it, the upload speed is next to null. it took me 10-12 hours each time to upload what used to take me 20 mins time in London. Not to mention not being able to access some sites and forums due to geographical restrictions like gumroad etc...

This project was a great learning experience in many ways. I was able to put to the test all the skills and technique we learned in this MA. I still have a great deal of learning to undertake and the next step for me is to expand the environment and to fine tune the station’s exterior and to try to nail the interior lighting similar to the last of us interior dimmed scenes. Also would love to model the front part of the truck and add some destructed cars on the highway.

Would like to thank my tutor mr. Simon Fenton for his help, notes and remarks along this course and this project. would also like to thank my colleagues friends and family for their help and support.
